The world is seeing a rise in social venture capital funds, while Nepal, until very recently, had no funds as such. But when Professor Tim Gocher, a private equity executive with a background in energy and technology, saw how commercial or quasi-commercial capital could potentially alleviate the economy in Nepal, he started the first commercial impact fund for Nepal, Dolma Impact Fund. Currently acting as Dolma Impact Fund’s CEO, he will be the next speaker in Next Venture Corp’s Venture Talk.
