Nepal at World Innovations Forum

Nepal at World Innovations Forum

The World Innovations Forum, an annual online event for entrepreneurs, investors, enablers, and economic growth officers is taking place from June 12-14 with the theme “Going Global”. Two events--one for the Eastern Hemisphere, and one for the Western Hemisphere is going to be conducted, and it will start at 12:15 pm, Nepali time. The presenters, moderators, discussion groups, and participants asking questions will all be visible on live video.

The event is an opportunity for everyone involved in the entrepreneurship sphere to learn what most entrepreneurs, enablers, and investors in successful countries are doing differently, and also pick up on techniques to grow on an international scale.

From Nepal, the selected startups for presentations include Rara Biotech, a company currently working on developing an effective prototype of a pregnancy detection kit for cattle, and Bikas Udhyami, a company providing perspectives on a wide range of issues such as governance, economic development, environment, human rights, and labor migration, to name a few, with an entrepreneurial approach.

Next Venture Corp will also be presenting on the services they have to provide---their accelerator program, business idea bootcamps, creative co-working spaces, how they’re helping Nepali businesses grow globally, and bringing global businesses to Nepal.
